legally blonde the musical
arts to ALL, West End Academy of Dance, and St. Catherine's School's Brilliant Summer Program are back to bring top-tier musical theatre to the youth of Richmond. Rehearsals and performances will take place on the St. Catherine's campus in the beautiful Love Jennison Family Theatre in Endeavour Hall.
A five week musical theatre intensive for high school and select college-aged students, culminating in a full-scaled Summer Musical Production. All students will participate in either on-stage performance or backstage technical production. Participation in this program requires an audition for performers and an application/interview for technical theatre participants.
The five-week process will provide hands-on instruction and coaching in performance (acting, singing, dancing) and technical theatre (lighting, sound, set and costume design, stage management). The Summer Musical runs from June 30 to August 3 with over 150 rehearsal and instruction hours. Please see the detailed schedule.
A fabulously fun award-winning musical based on the adored movie, Legally Blonde The Musical, follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. Action-packed and exploding with memorable songs and dynamic dances - this musical is so much fun, it should be illegal!
Tuition for this 5 week program is $1200
*All those interested in performance, must fill out an audition form and sign up for an audition appointment. Please note that there is both a vocal and dance audition.

Friday, February 21 at St. Catherine's School for Actor / Singers who Dance
Saturday, February 22 at West End Academy of Dance for Dancers who Sing / Act
Video Submissions allowed if you are unable to make an in-person appointment. Please still fill out the audition form and in the 'additional comments' portion of the form, please note that you are submitting a video. I will then reach out with the dance portion of the audition for you to include in your submission
